  7. It has been widely reported that the    
  8. hibernation cryofield produced, over    
  9. time, a number of tangible external     
  10. effects, which include a low hum,       
  11. distortion of visible light, internal   
  12. shift of focus, and a widespread ambient
  13. milky blue glow of subtle radiations.   
  14. Since there are no conscious sentients  
  15. aboard the starships, existence and     
  16. significance of these effects are the   
  17. result of telemetry extrapolation, data 
  18. compaction and AI transforms. Frederick 
  19. Morrow, Chief Scientist on the          
  20. Hibernation Cryofield Development       
  21. Program (2021-2033 inclusive) predicted 
  22. these effects. Only the earliest traces 
  23. of a few of them were recorded during   
  24. development and testing. Side effects   
  25. were expected to be minimal or          
  26. non-existent, excepting only the        
  27. potential for PDD cure.
